The following information bulletin is in accordance with Canadian Nuclear Laboratories’ (CNL) ongoing commitment to voluntary public disclosure of events related to the Chalk River Laboratories. On Monday, October 26, 2020, while departing the Chalk River Laboratories, a delivery service provider experienced some physical distress. The individual called 911 for assistance, Renfrew County Paramedic Services were dispatched to attend the caller on the Chalk River Laboratories’ portion of Plant Road. Staff from CNL’s Emergency Services also responded to assist. Renfrew County Paramedic Services transported the individual to hospital for assessment. CNL advised the local CNSC Site Office.
